Fresh snow is falling across most resorts in Italy...

Fresh snow is falling across most resorts in Italy, giving Italy some of the best conditions in the Alps. The impressive amount of fresh snow means that there is excellent skiing in most resorts. Holidaymakers are urged to head high for the best snow but even on the lower slopes conditions are good, thanks to many new and improved ski making facilities across a range of resorts. The Milky Way area covering Sauze D’Oulx and Sestriere is showing an excellent start to the season. The Monte Rosa ski area around Gressoney is excellent on higher slopes and the Dolomites are showing typically good coverage:
