EQUESTRIAN PROGRAMS 2008

1. CHILDREN PROGRAM (4/6 YEARS OLD)

For children who will have the chance to become in the future great riders.

The programs includes 6 hours per week divided in two lessons from 30 minutes every one per day. The lesson is guided by a teacher for children, with a pony. The saddle is replaced by a handle for vaulting to experience in safety the first approaches with horse and the two gaits (walk and trot). Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Centre.

Cost of the Package: Euro 200,00 insurance included.

2. CHILDREN BEGINNERS PROGRAM (7/15 YEARS OLD)

Future riders at the beginning.

The program includes 6 hours of horse riding per week divided in a hour per day.

The lessons will take place in the arena, guided by a federal teacher who will value the possibility of short riding in the area of the centre. It will be also explained the cleaning of the horse, to saddle and take off the saddle, and the hand management. It will be taught the two gaits, walk and trot. Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Centre.

Cost of the Package: Euro 175,00 insurance included.

3. ADULT BEGINNERS PROGRAM

For those approaching for the first time to the fantastic world of horse, or for those who have just tasted it.

The program includes 7 hours per week, divided in 5 lessons of a hour every one and a horse riding of 2 hours to enjoy the beauty of horse outside.

The lessons will take place in the arena, guided by a federal teacher who will accompany you also in the horse riding outside.

It will be explained the two gaits, walk and trot. Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Centre.

Cost of the Package: Euro 200,00 insurance included.

4. MEDIUM PROGRAM

Suitable for those with the first bases of horse riding who want, during a holiday, to continue and make deeper this incredible knowledge.

The program includes 12 hours per week, which will be divided between lessons in the arena, and horse riding among woods and country roads.

The lessons will take place in the arena, guided by a federal teacher qualified as a equestrian companion.

It will be fortified the knowledge of the gaits of walk and trot, and the federal teacher will value the introduction to the third gait, gallop. Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Centre.

Cost of the Package: Euro 350,00 insurance included.

5. EXPERIENCED PROGRAM

Only for experienced people and for those showing safety in three gaits, who will have the chance to taste fully the beauty of this earth.

The programs includes around 24 hours of horse back riding plus the stops.

Every day you will have the possibility of staying outside from 4 till 6 hours, across zones of natural and landscape interest, arriving in places of rest where you will have the chance to taste the typical products of the zone or directly of the producer, wine and oil, cheeses and pork products, etc…

A car will be ready for every kind of demand.

One or two authorized guides, (two depending on the number of participants) will accompany the riders.

Cost of the Package: Euro 450,00 insurance included, extra snacks or lunches, with a price around 15,00 / 20,00 Euro. Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Center.

6. EXPERIENCED PROGRAM ONLY FOR THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST

This program replaces in the months of july and august the EXPERIENCED PROGRAM.

Always suitable for those having experience and revealing safety in the three gaits, the rider will have the chance to find, in this hot months, a bit of refreshment, during the rests in places where having a refreshment bath.

The program includes 4 days of horse riding and 2 of relax.

For three days you will be outside for 9/10 hours, 6 of them in saddle, in the hottest hours you will have a stop for lunch in a characteristic farm or will be organized a picnic. In one of the stops you will reach the river Albegna where you will have the chance to have a bath riding on the nude back of the horses. The last day you will visit the street market of Scansano (around three hours of riding) and a buffet of “goodbye” will be offered at the Stables.

7. PROGRAM “A BIT OF EVERYTHING”

Reserved to experienced people wanting to taste other methods of horse riding.

The program is that for experienced, in addition two lessons of western riding and one of ethology applied to the horse (JOIN-UP), which will take place, after a right pause, at the return from the horse riding of Sunday/Wednesday and Friday.

Cost of the Package: Euro 550,00 insurance included, extra snacks or lunches, with a price around 15,00 / 20,00 Euro. Protection cap and protection for shoulder (obligatory) will be offered by the Centre.

8. COUNTRY HORSEBACK RIDING

PROGRAM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS 8/16 YEARS OLD WITH EXPERIENCED LEVEL (who can autonomously face the three gaits – walk, trot, gallop).

The program includes 12/13 hours of horse riding per week plus involvement of group.

First day: Work in the arena on the three gaits to value the effective level (1 hour)

Second day: Work in the arena, on barriers and various difficulties (2 hours)

Third day: Heating in the arena, work across the country (path) (2 hours).

Fourth day: Tasting of a trekking, a horse riding around 3 hours long will guide the young riders to visit the rests of a Roman residence of 200 a.c.

Fifth day: Test in the arena – test of gincana. (2 or 3 hours).

Sixth day: Test of country riding. (2 hours).

This program, to be experienced, foresees a minimum of three persons and a maximum of six, and is offered in the following dates:

22/29 of march – 21/28 of june – 19/26 of july 2008

All the programs can be experienced as with English way of riding as with western way of riding, the centre offers the complete equipment for the two types of riding and trekking.

The horses, of good nature, are of various races: Maremman – Lipizzano – Murgese – Franches Montagnes – Bardigiano – Irish/Lipizzano – Arab/Haflinger – Appaloosa and Half-Breed.

The teachers, all of federal equestrian school, and qualified guides.
