Resort overview

Forni di Sopra is a small quaint resort, which is ideal for short breaks and as part of a ski tour of the area. There is a part of the resort dedicated to beginners with everything they need to take those first steps onto the snow.

This area of the Varmost, offers slopes with breathtaking scenery and long runs, which are always covered in snow. All 15km of runs are kept open by artificial snow machines. As you come down the slopes, there is a self-service restaurant at 1750m. In addition to the downhill slopes, Forni di Sopra also has a wonderful 10km cross country trail, immersed in enchanting woodland.

Forni di Sopra would most suit families or couples looking for a short break. In addition to skiing, there is an open-air skating rink, Snow Park, leisure centre, bars, restaurants, a small selection of shops and a nightclub. Those looking for further skiing can arrange for transfers to other Friulan resorts such as Piancavello or Tarvisio, where it is possible to ski in Italy, Slovenia and Austria in the same day.
