Highly recommended
I have just returned from our holiday. I will most definitely recommend it to friends and family in Australia and the UK and hope to be able to return myself sometime. I haven't had chance to look at my photos yet but I will send you any that I think are good. Did I see in your brochure that you have a one bedroom apartment for sale in the same building for 165,00 euros? I also want to say we really enjoyed the day trip to St Moritz which you organized for us. Julia the tour guide on the bus was extremely good - we learnt heaps of things about the history of the area, the food and wines - it was very informative. We were lucky as it had rained the day before which meant fresh snow in the Alps so the scenery was stunning. The property was such a good choice for us and thank you so much for recommending it. Menaggio is such a perfect base on Lake Como I cannot think of another location I would rather be in. Best wishes.

Lovely holiday
Menaggio was the first place we visited in Italy and the welcome we received at the office was just lovely. They were really helpful and gave us great directions to Al Pontile, as well as other useful info. The location was great (couldn't get closer to the ferry) and our worries about the noise level in the mornings was soon dispelled as we couldn't hear a thing. The accommodation was fine, though the shower in the bath was a bit short for me, let alone my husband who is over 6ft. No complaints though, it was all great. My favourite little spot was Varenna - full of charm and less people than Bellagio. Visited 2 villas while in Varenna (Villa Cipressi & Villa Monastero) both were lovely. Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio was great. It was a guided tour of the park rather than a tour of the villa but gave gorgeous views of the lake. The guide was really lovely. The other villa we visited was Villa Carlotta - well worth it as you get a look at both the garden and the villa. We had a couple of meals at Bar Costantin which was really great. The locals seemed to enjoy it as well which is always a good sign. Very good value for your money, quick service and lovely food/atmosphere. We will be back!
