Sauze d'Oulx (known as the balcony of the Alps) is an excellent value, big and fun resort in Piedmont, with extensive slopes and access to the Milky Way terrain. The resort sits on a mountain shelf with impressive views of the towering mountains. Boarders will enjoy the big open pistes and intermediates are spoilt for choice with access to over 400km of runs.

In addition to skiing, Sauze does have many off-piste activities such as snowmobiling, helicopter rides, Tibetan bridge, paragliding, snowshoe excursions, winter walking, spas, winetasting, games room and Italian cinema.

Sauze has a bilingual créche open 7 days a week from 08:30 to 17:00 for children from 13 months to 6 years. There is a also a Funny Land, a snow park on the slopes where small children can play and have their first approach to skiing without a qualified instructor

How to get there?
Turin airport is only 1 hour by car or transfer. It is also possible to access the resort via Geneva, Chambery and Milan airports although transfer prices can be high unless travelling as part of a large group
