Fantastic ski apartment in Sauze d'Oulx. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

The apartment is beautifully furnished and well appointed, it offers fantastic family friendly ski accommodation, more of a home from home then a holiday apartment. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a very comfy double bed with spectacular views over the valley and a walk in wardrobe. The other bedroom has a pull-out bed sleeping 2.

The open plan living/kitchen with leather sofas, dining table and chairs for 6 people, 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, wood burning fire. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Bathroom with cast iron roll-top stand alone bath and a separate shower cubicle.

There is also a balcony with cast iron table and chairs with great views up the mountains. 


Location/distances - Just 10 minutes walk from Clotes ski lift (or bus stop 50m away). In the old town of Sauze, a lovely walk down from the town centre past plenty of great restaurants

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week at the very cosy Baya apartment in Sauze D’Oulx. So much so we did not want to leave! The apartment is situated at the foot of the village but it a delightful short stroll (ten mins max) to the clotes lift through the village, there you can also hire And store boots, skis and get directly onto lift. Alternatively, the bus stop to the Sportinia lift is a stones throw away on the opposite side of the road to the apartment. Tickets for weekly bus pass can be purchased at €8 per adult, they didn’t seem to want to charge the children! The apartment itself is a gorgeous top floor apartment complete with log burner (but fuel and lighters from Casa Linga in piazza assietta middle of village!), plus a wonderful roll top bath and mains shower! To come home after a long day’s skiing to the prospect of a warm bath and roaring fire made our days complete! The apartment has excellent WiFi and we made best use of it for family movie nights with downloaded movies. It was great to have access to a washing machine to take on some of the loads before returning home! The apartment is warm and radiators easily dried clothing whilst we were out on the piste. The large open living space comprises of a fully equipped kitchen and large oak dining table in dining area. In addition there is a large, cosy sofa and arm chair where you can relax in front of fire or tv. The bedrooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, wonderful views from master bedroom and in addition a walk in wardrobe has ample space for clothing for a family of four. The apartment is traditionally decorated and in-keeping with the beautiful surroundings of the village. It has a balcony with outdoor seating area and lovely views to the mountain. We found the owner, cleaner Elena and managing agent so very helpful throughout our stay. Elena speaks little English but we had no problems with the help of google translate and hand actions! The owner speaks perfect English. Mark was on hand if we needed anything at all, but we didn’t have a single problem to report. If we return to Sauze D’Oulx we would not hesitate to book this apartment again. Thanks to Andrea for letting it and for Mark for organising our stay with excellent correspondence and efficient management. We wish we were still there!

Lovely spacious apartment. Very comfortable and homely. excellent heating system with lots of hot water. Fantastic bathroom to relax in after a day on the slopes. Great views. Very quiet but within easy reach of the village and local bars and restaurants. Would definitely book again.


This apartment is more like a home than a skiing apartment. There is not a single bad thing i could say. With fantastic views over the valley below, all cooking, washing, entertainment facilities you need. The cast iron hot bath is perfect after a day on the slopes Located in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk up the lovely old cobbly town with great restaurants I will 100% be booking again

<p>The Baya Apartment is an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable with every amenity you could wish for. It's in a good location for local restaurants and bars. Also the Clotes ski lift is within walking distance. It's advisable to store your skis and boots near the lift as the walk from the apartment is uphill. Also, it's worth mentioning that the apartment is on the top floor of a three story building so be prepared for some stair climbing.</p>

<p>I stayed in the Baya Apartment in Jan 2019. It is a gorgeous apartment, much more homely than other clinical apartments I have stayed in. It was in a perfect location and not too far to walk to the lifts in the morning. Leaving skis and boots in lockers at Clotes is a must. I would definitely stay in this apartment again, in fact it would be my first choice of accommodation should I return to Sauze.</p>
