Villa il Podere is located in the the countryside of central Puglia between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica, city of art and land of gastronomy, one of the most ancient cities in the region. The village enjoys beautiful views of the countryside and architectural marvels. This area is also famous for its gastronomical culture, The cuisine in always locally sourced and includes olive oil fish, locally grown fruit and vegetables along with regional wines. In Ceglie Messapica you will find lots of restaurants to savour the region's typical dishes.

The villa is located inside a 60,000sqm olive-grove and  consists of a group of  trullos, lamias and other buildings which have been rebuilt using traditional techniques. The furnishings are craft made, using salvaged materials, and have a contemporary design.

The villa is surrounded by a garden of around 1,000sqm with a lawn containing various plants, a private heated swimming pool (14m x 7m), a courtyard with pergola, a barbecue, two terraces (one in front of the house and one on the roof) all including garden furniture. The large covered pergola is comfortably furnished with all the necessary garden furniture and is the ideal place for enjoying 'al fresco' meals.  There is a car parking space at the property.

There are two buildings: a main one which more or less consists of various communal areas (kitchen, dining room,  trullo for resting/reading, study, lounge and library) and two bedrooms (with double bed) and two bathrooms (one inside the large bedroom). In the second building there are another two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with twin beds (or double bed if requested) each of which have their own private bathroom.

All the necessary mod cons can be found inside, air conditioning, internet access with WI FI connection, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

The main building consists of the social areas including the fully equipped independent kitchen, dining room and lounge.

The night time area has two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom/shower.

The second building has an additional two bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other has a double bed that can be turned into two single beds. The two bedrooms each have a bathroom with shower.
