Very nice

We booked this last minute in desperation the day before travelling but luckily it was a good choice. Great villa with lovely pool and gardens. We actually didn't visit as many places as we intended because it was so nice just being in the grounds. Very nice restaurant within walking distance - a bit rough and ready but great food and wine and very cheap. Sorrento only 5 miles away where we took the ferry to Capri for the day. The owners were very nice and friendly, especially as we were late arriving and they were hanging around for hours. Also a nice vegetable patch to pick some fresh produce. Would happily visit again.

Thank you

We spent 10 fabulous days staying at Villa Rocce. The villa itself is beautiful and suited us perfectly. The pool was great for the children (9,9&15 yrs) and the gardens were a perfect place to relax. We made good use of the pizza oven too! Tina and Michele were brilliant hosts. On hand anytime we needed them and also came to change the beds and leave us fresh towels halfway through our stay. They also came over on our last night to warn us there may be a power cut due to the bad weather that was due (the only bad weather we saw during our stay) and showed us the emergency lighting so the younger two children didnt get scared which i thought was very thoughtful.

The local village which is only a 10 minute walk up the lane was lovely and the people were very welcoming. It has a few restaurants and a mini supermarket. Mezzaluna restaurant was a favourite with us, gorgeous food, lovely owners and great value for money (we visited 3 times). The Amalfi coast is just amazing to drive through. We stopped off at all the villages along the way with Revello and Positano being the favourites. Also Tina told us to visit Nerano beach, it is only very small but again perfect for relaxing and only a 20 minute drive from the villa. The children played in the sea there and it has a couple of little bars/restaurants.

Sorrento was the perfect place for an evening out, the atmosphere is great and everyone is so friendly. It was the perfect time of year for us as it wasnt too busy with tourists/cruiseships but busy enough for a great atmosphere. Also the weather was amazing but did get a little chilly at night. It is somewhere we will definitely be returning to. All in all it is a fantastic villa and area to go to. Thank you

What welcoming hosts

We felt you went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Communication was easy and we had no issues whatsoever. We would definitely stay at the property and recommend it to friends. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you, Alfonso, and thank you to Michele and Tina for the tremendous hospitality.

"Great villa for exploring the Amalfi coast"
Wonderful location. It's between Naples and the Amalfi coast and therefore perfect for exploring both areas, including the ruined Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Michael and his wife looked after us extremely well. The villa was clean, spacious and had a lovely view over the coast to the sea.

Seeing is believing
Beautifully kept grounds with impressive backdrops, garden and eating areas are spacious and inviting, whilst offering shade in the heat of the day. Gardens are secure and well lit. Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple preparation of food, whilst bedrooms are spacious and offer plenty of hanging and storage space. Ideal summer location.
