Villa Tuscaia Romana is an ancient manor house in the region of Lazio, specifically located in the heart of the green hills of Tuscia Romana, near a small Etruscan necropolis and approximately 2km from the small village of Vitorchiano.

Inside this spacious house, spread over 3 floors, you will find a large living room with piano and a library with access to the garden. The impressive dining room with beautiful antique furniture also leads into the garden. The house boasts a lovely porch with table and is ideal for outdoor dining.  There is also rustic yet fantastic eat-in kitchen with working fire place.

The house has ten charming bedrooms that vary in size, and nine bathrooms. This property has been nicely renovated and decorated with comfortable furnishings to compliment the historic building. On the first floor is a suite consisting of two adjoinig bedrooms, one of which is a double room, the other a triple room.

Villa Tuscaia Romana is accessed via an automatic gate and sits on the top of a small hill, surrounded by meadows, a fruit orchard and olive groves. The beautiful private swimming pool (72sqm) has separate children's pool (4m x 4m - depth 1.20m).

Upon request and local payment you can organise spa treatments, breakfast service, lunches and dinners, cooking lessons and guided tours (archeological itineraries, lakes, thermal baths, culture, food and wine).

Downstairs you will find spacious kitchen, dining and living rooms.  The kitchen is well equipped with oven/hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker and washing machine. The bedrooms are vast and there are 2 doubles, 3 twin, 1 single, 3 with double and single bed and 1 bedroom sleeping 5. The bathrooms all have a shower.

The property has wifi, satellite TVs and a stereo system. and there are sun loungers and garden furniture to relax on and a barbeque for cooking.

Location/distances

Vitochiano is just 2km away and you will find shops and restaurants there. Here, you will also see the city walls dating back to the 14th century, and overlooking the deep gorge.

Places of interest include: Horseback riding stables 1km, 2km the medieval hamlet of Vitorchiano (various shops). Viterbo 7km, Tuscania 25km, Tarquinia 32km, Orvieto 40km, Rome 70km. Lakes Vico, Bolsena and Bracciano are all just a short drive.  Rome Fiumicino airport 60km.
