We loved our stay! The house was perfect to explore the Amalfi, away from the busiest areas of the coast. It felt like we were in a small local town, even though we were there in peak season. Nicola was an incredible host, very kind and caring. He really helped us make the best of our time, with tips on what to do and where to go, as well as helping with booking a boat trip to Capri. Thank you very much! M.
The views from the balcony were stunning! It was good to have a choice of tables and chairs in different places. The hot tub was luxurious! There are a lot of steps to negotiate to and from the town, but well worthwhile! The local restaurants were all good, and the food shop had pretty much everything we needed. We had a lovely time, and Nicola was very helpful.
We stayed 5 nights in this lovely little house, with its stunning 180 degree views from the rooftop terrace, and sweeping views from a small corner of the garden near the bedroom. That view of the Tyrrhenian Sea is incredible. We spent a whole day on the terrace, relaxing and pinching ourselves! House Manager was super helpful and friendly - nothing was a problem. Just be aware there are 100 stairs from the street to the house. A wonderful experience.
The owner was a great host, He carrying my suitcase up the many stairs to reach the apartment, spoke good english and gave us lots of great recommendations.
The property was much bigger than we expected, with 3 seperate terraces, a working spa and beautiful top balcony with a stunning view.
Excellent stay, we spent a very pleasant long weekend thanks to the location of the accommodation in the heights of Praiano with a magnificent view that is tireless in the morning and evening. We were on a scooter during the entire stay but otherwise the accommodation located about 12 minutes walk from the church of Praiano. I highly recommend this accommodation, we were very well received by the hosts.
If only I could sit on this balcony, read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee and stare out at the view forever! The pictures speak for themselves. As noted from the listing and other reviews, there are some steps to get here, but if you're prepared - it's manageable. The owner helped us carry our bags up during check in, and my husband and I handled them down for our departure. You can hire porters though if you're an over packer and not able to carry them physically yourself.
The owner was extremely helpful. He provided a map with an overview of the coast and best ways and times to get to other popular spots along the coast. He gave us restaurant recommendations, and one (Kasai) was still the best meal we've had on our trip. This would be a great spot for you if you want to stay in the area but avoid the more touristy hustle and bustle of busier spots (e.g. Positano). We rented scooters and went for a day trip. It was perfect! A peaceful getaway!
The villa had everything we needed, very spacious, comfortable, very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace was incredible with the hot tub an added bonus. Just one suggestion that the mattresses could be upgraded. We would definitely recommend this to anyone
A beautiful home, lots of outdoor spaces and great views of the sea and the coastline. The House Manager was extremely hospitable at check in and everything was comfortable, would definitely recommend this home. Since the home is pretty far up from the sea, we rented a scooter from Flavio Gioia, great experience and a fun way to explore the coast. Again, would definitely recommend!
I recommend this property! Beautiful views from three terraces, very roomy, and quiet. House Manager is very communicative and responsive and we appreciated his help during our stay. The town shuttle is at the bottom of the property steps. There are over 100 steps from the street to the property and are not too difficult once you get used to them. If you don't want to use the town shuttle or don't have a car, you can also walk to restaurants/shops (about 400+ steps down). You can also walk to the closest beach (another 500 steps down to the water). We had a lovely stay in early September.
We loved our stay at this beautiful place! The house was spacious and clean and the views from all three patios were breathtaking! Do know that there are about 6 flights of stairs from the closest bus stop to get up to the house. Also, it's about twice or three times that many stairs to get down to town and many more stairs still after that to the beach. You'll be staying at the very top of Praiano so convenience to restaurants, shops and the beach is not great but the quiet home and spectacular views make it worth it. The hosts are very friendly and will answer any questions promptly. We would stay there again!
The owner & his family are amazing hosts! Their home is breathtaking and has all the amenities you will ever need, with a rooftop balcony that will make you not want to leave. My girlfriend and I will be back next summer.
This Villa is an amazing space, very Italian interior decor with all amenities you can need and more, including a jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the sea! The patio was also very beautiful. The villa was incredibly spacious and very clean on arrival. We arrived quite late in the evening, later than planned and our host was so accommodating and helpful! The communication was prompt throughout and he was very responsive always offering help. The only challenge we had was getting up and down the stairs to the villa as there are quite a lot of steps which caused us to struggle quite a bit. The villa is a lovely stay, but I would highlight a certain level of fitness is needed to climb up and down those stairs throughout your stay
We cannot praise the apartment, with its 3 terraces and spectacular views enough. Yes, it is a little dated, but it is very traditional, kept us cool without needing air con (despite the 36°heat) and all the equipment works and the basics are present. You do not want to spend too much time inside anyway as you're paying for the view and hottub, so it suited us fine. The host, Nicola, went above and beyond to make it stay as good as possible. He brought a lot of heavy stuff up the stairs and even installed a new hottub within the day when the old one gave up to the ghost. Lovely, friendly& helpful. The only problem we had were the stairs. Do not be fooled , they are not fit the faint hearted, especially in the heat, but that is the nature of the Amalfi Coast. We found the lovely local bus to the foot of the apartment stairs and rewarded ourselves with a cold drink and hottub (on cool) once we'd climbed them every evening. Walking down into town is 600 steps, some steep. Just a heads up. It is central, but extremely tough on joints and knees! We are looking forward to our next stay there, especially now we're prepared. We wouldn't go anywhere else in Amalfi.
Lovely views! But the stairs do give you a bit of a workout. We loved being away from all the people staying in Praiano. Learning the bus system takes a minute, but other wise, we loved our time here!
We had an amazing time staying here ! The home is beautiful and has the most amazing view from the terraces. House Manager was super helpful and made our stay seamless. Would highly recommend this stay.
Great location to experience the Amalfi Coast with
breathtaking views of the deep blue ocean and the bay of
Positano.
Street parking can be an issue but a local bus is easy to
catch at the bottom of the stairs and it takes 5 min into
town.
Don't forget about the stairs, its part of the experience and
views!
